Are you Fit for Neighbourhood Planning?
FREE WORKSHOP
Are Neighbourhood Plans just what you need?
The Government's Neighbourhood Plans initiative are shortly to become law within the new Localism Act. This presents both opportunities and a challenge to community organisations.
Are they right for your Community?
On the one hand, Neighbourhood Plans provide local communities with a chance to shape their areas in the way they want
(subject to various requirements) and in a form that becomes a statutory part of the Council's Local development Framework. i.e. a plan with teeth. But on the other hand, such plans involve quite complex processes, together with considerable work and committment to make them a reality.
This event is promoted by YHEP and is particularly aimed at people from Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield.
